Riyadh to Andhra Pradesh - June 12th(Hyd. Flight) - Personal experience 1. Be early at Airport if possible 4 hours before to Terminal 1, need to fill forms(total 3) given by Staff. Bring own pen in handy, will be helpful much. For pregnant ladies Q will be fast. Business class can request for a new counter to be opened 2. After completing check-in follow to immigration then to respective gate. 3. In flight , staff will provide face shield, sanitizer kit. 4. Airindia is providing prepacked cheese bread + sweet cake+ water bottle. Call it as a snack type.no extra food though 5. After landing in Hyderabad, it takes a while due to safe distance, please bear with patience. 6. Again need to fill (6 copies) forms given by staff with your personal details and choice of hotels(for hyd). 7. There will be seperate immigration for Telangana and Andhra people. Clear guidance will be provided. I heard Telangana is refusing Andhra people if the address in passport is Andhra. Not sure on this though 8. For Andhra People , passports were held by govt. Officials at immigration and will be returned after finishing quarantine period. That's what they say. 9. After finishing immigration, AP people will be gathered at one location and move to collect baggage and then to Bus locations. Food and water bottles were provided before bus departure to Vijaywada. It took almost 4 hours after immigration completion and starting Bus to A.P. 10. After reaching Vijayawada, East, West, Vizag, Srikakulam people were transferred to one bus and transferred them to each district covid HQ (vijayawada, palakollu,rajamundry,kakinada , Vizag etc) quarantine 7 days. 11. Remaining districts people are advised to quarantine based on the availability of space 12. The buses from Hyd airport to Andhra Pradesh are non AC buses and will have police escort throughout. No one can step out of the bus and max 20 people per bus. Non AC buses provided to prevent spread of infection if any
13. Due to various capacity constraints at different districts , the travel time will increase . I had to wait for 5 hours in Palakollu covid center to release the people in the bus who are from West Godavari. Every bus has 2 VRO officers who will handle the passports. They will hand over the passport to the quarantine center
14. Everyone will need to have lots of patience. Even testing at covid centers have long serpentine queues. Plz wear a mask at all times.
