As of my knowledge , There are two hotels given as choices for the paid quarantine
One is at Periyamet i.e Central and another one is near by Guindy
Rate for per day at Periyamet is some 1600 , and the hotel at Guindy at 2500
Approx not exact
Foods at Periyamet is worst , pregnant ladies who ate had vomit and diarrhea and they were given only one bottle of drinking water .

Dears,landed in Chennai safely on-time at 8.20 pm.first step is to complete the immigration and submit the self declaration form that they have provided while booking the ticket .Then after collecting the baggages we were asked to choose quarantine accommodation option ..there were two options ..govt facility or hotel Hablis.
Hotel Hablis provides three packages 2500,3300,5500
We can choose as we wish
Breakfast ,lunch and dinner included and the food choices varies based on the package
Swab test was taken at the airport and the result will take one or two days ..7 days mandatory quarantine

Today we got flight to Chennai from Dammam.. they ve given two options paid -2500 single /day ,, and free quarantined.. before travel we enquire govt quanrantine is good. so we selected govt quarantine, they have taken samples and gave dinner parcel at airport exit . We came to VIT hostel , they ve 2- 3-4 capacity room. We planned for 3 friends but one got struck in luggage collection.. so , 2 of joined here . Dinner they provided Saravana bhavan mini meals... It was good .. Govt ve provide good facilities as much they can provide.. really appreciate govt action in this critical situation.. I suggest if you got VIT Govt quarantined , select without hesitation..

Don't choose hotel Raj park. Service is worst.

They will only 2 water bottle perday. If you ask more they will change each bottle 50rs.

Yes before selecting paid hotels.. confirm food, WiFi.water bottles, are free.even VIT government quanrantine, they provide 2 times Tea with Channa,free food , freewifi, free filter cooler water ...

For Tamilnadu, after flight landing chose government quanrantine centre.. people who have chosen government quarantined in Chennai , can be released in 2-3 days from institute ( VIT college or Guindy Anna University)) quarantine.. after negative results,, government arranging bus to each district by free of cost .. each district collector has authority to decide any further quarantine required or not .. some are verify Chennai gov quanrantine negative certificate and send to Home quanrantine.. some district they keep further 4 days district quanrantine in their institution or medical centre ... For all- (( Home quanrantine or district quarantined people )) 7th day they will take corona test again ..

If we go for paid quanrantine in Chennai we need to wait 7 days in Chennai and E pass / transport to arrange for our travel .. and 2-3 days district quarantine may be there on some districts...
