Do you have insurance policy? If yes then you call or chat with the insurance company and ask them to link it to your Visa. I had problem with extension of Visa even after making Insurance as it was not linked so I had chat with them and they did it in couple of days and sent me confirmation too. You can try this.
I had annual insurance covering all countries except US from HDFC this was not linked to my Visa so I have taken one more insurance from ACIG before extension

Everyone can extend the insurance by their own no need to contact sponsor for Extension.. you just need to enter your border number and Visa number.you can pay thorough card for extension...it is around 24 riyal for 1 month.
Also please note this insurance is different than the travel insurance we issued in India Saudi insurance companies will be giving this insurance like alrajhi takaful
